ABOUT ILLUSTRIOUS HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS
New to the healthcare market, Illustrious Healthcare Solutions was formed in 2020 as a response to the call of the British government for British manufacturers to support the COVID-19 pandemic.
Located on the South Coast of England in the waterfront city of Portsmouth, our founders bring with them many years of experience in a range of sectors within the engineering industry, with Portsmouth Aviation's state of the art AS9100/ISO14001 quality assurance certified facilities. Further to this, our partnership with University Hospital Southampton provides invaluable expertise about front-line acute healthcare environments, including critical care, theatre and ward areas. The result of which is a high-quality end user experience, a testament to our design team’s expertise.

A Modern Approach to Respiratory Care
Illustrious Healthcare Solutions is proud to market Exovent-PA on behalf of Portsmouth Aviation, as part of our ongoing collaboration. Exovent-PA is a revolutionary Negative Pressure Ventilator designed to provide external ventilation for patients with respiratory diseases, supporting natural breathing without the need for invasive procedures. Currently in development, this device offers a promising alternative to existing ventilation methods, with a focus on improving patient comfort and enhancing the overall quality of care.
IMPaCT Multi-Purpose Clinical Trolley
The IMPaCT range features innovative aluminium construction that reduces plastic use and enhances sustainability. Our distinctive, easily removable aluminium drawers have no visible runners, creating a sleek and modern look while ensuring the safety and integrity of their contents. The design protects against dust and fluid contamination, significantly reducing the risk of losing high-cost clinical consumables due to spills.
Sustainability is key to the IMPaCT range. By using primarily aluminium, we reduce the environmental impact and contribute to a more sustainable healthcare solution. The units’ antimicrobial white gloss finish not only gives the products a clean, modern look but also contributes to an environment-friendly design.
Medical Chart Cabinet: Supporting the Fight Against Covid-19
In 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Illustrious Healthcare Solutions was tasked by a local NHS Trust to design, manufacture, and supply a bed-space trolley to facilitate patient care in surge areas. The product needed to accommodate paper charts, include a drawer, storage shelves, and be mobile. The result was the IHS Medical Chart Cabinet (MCC), which has since proven invaluable in various clinical settings.
